Kilometres on a Motorcycle around Australia
I travelled six months alone with
my motorcycle on the Red Continent. Carrying my "hotel"
with me, I camped with tent and sleeping bag under the starry sky.
The famous Ayers Rock in the centre of the outback, Perth, the
capital of West Australia and Cairns on the northern end of the
fifth continent are some of the destinations of my 25.000 Kilometres
journey with my BMW R 100 GS. As a guest I experienced the every
day life of a family at a sheep-farm in the East and after an accident
in the Northwest a team of the Flying Doctors rescued me.
Fascinating landscapes, sleepy koalas and wild kangaroos, grass-trees
and boab-trees, Australian people, history and presence combined
with my personal experiences create an exciting and entertaining
slide show.
